Olivia Gesimondo

The mind is a powerful tool that can be used in ways that most people are unaware of.  My goal is to help individuals gain power over their thoughts by becoming more aware of how they think and what purpose their thoughts serve.

I have experience working in both individual and group psychotherapy settings with children, adolescents, and adults.  I specialize in providing assistance to clients with a wide range of mental health diagnoses, such as Eating Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Social-Relational problems.

I practice from an integrative perspective and utilize Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical-Behavioral, and Psychodynamic approaches that best suit each client’s needs. I believe that therapeutic success stems from a collaborative environment.

My work focuses on instilling positive coping mechanisms that help clients function their best in daily life. I offer a warm and compassionate environment that focuses on creating treatment goals that best serve each individual client.
